Azerbaijan Ornithological Society prepared a new website - "Nature in our life" for schoolchildren. Our aims are to distribute information about biodiversity of Azerbaijan, to increase schoolchildren’s knowledge by using internet, to get new information and to give information about sustainable development.

There are links devoted to different theme of nature and ecology in the website. There are given information about - flora and fauna of Azerbaijan; birds world and their specify methods; dangers that meet in the environment; events carried out by AOS. Schoolchildren can also see the pictures of rare animals, birds and plants and will be able to hear voice of the birds. And pupils can do tests placed here for checking their knowledge.

Webpage has been prepared in two languages - Azeri and English. It will help schoolchildren to improve their English language abilities. There was hold the presentation of “Nature in our life!” website in “Rio-Novosti” International Press Agency on 16th of May. During conference was given wide information about website to media mass and answered to their questions.

In May, 05 there was hold a seminar dedicated to the website “Nature in our life!” for schoolchildren and school teachers at school ?12 in Agjabedy city. The main goal was to distribute information about our new website dedicated to the nature of Azerbaijan.

During the seminar schoolchildren were given information about the links placed in the website and how they can benefit by this website. After the seminar the posters dedicated to the website were handed to each participant.

At the end of the seminar were implemented ecological games with schoolchildren and winners were given encouraging presents.
